The Consulate of Finland in St. Petersburg changed its mind to start the reception on June 1. This is reported by representatives of the diplomatic department in official groups on social networks. Earlier, the consulate was going to start accepting applications for a residence permit from June 1, but now decided to postpone the opening for two weeks. They will not accept applications for a Schengen visa. Exceptions are made for diplomats and their family members, drivers and persons travelling to the funeral. They will be able to apply to the consulate from June 1, 2020. The order applies to all sections of the land state border of the Russian Federation, including railway, road and water traffic, the representatives of the consulate reported. International freight transport is not subject to these restrictions, said the diplomatic mission.
