Over the past day, 118 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the Czech Republic, which is the highest since April 21. This was announced on June 19 by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the country. On Thursday, 118 new people infected with coronavirus were added, the press service said. It also recalls that recently the daily increase in new infected SARS-CoV-2 in the country was in the region of 50 people, and indicates that the main centers are the city of Prague and the northeastern Czech Karvin region. Thus, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country today is 10,280 with 334 deaths and 7,440 cured of COVID-19. At the same time, 2506 people are currently being treated for COVID-19 in the country. Note, as reported by the news agency, earlier it became known that against the background of the deteriorating economic situation, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa decided to further remove quarantine measures, despite the increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection.
